Don't miss this annual gathering of those who relate to United Methodist Conference Camp & Retreat Ministries on behalf of their Annual Conference or region. Come be with colleagues who understand your role and who care about you.

  • gain new perspectives from Dakotas "ministry spotlights"
  • tour our host site and the lovely Black Hills area

    Event registration includes three nights' lodging, seven meals (all but Thursday dinner), and program at beautiful Storm Mountain Center in the Black Hills National Forest near Rapid City, South Dakota.

    Thursday afternoon we'll explore the best of the Black Hills region and dine at the State Game Lodge at Custer State Park

    Rates $215 Shared Occupancy, $280 Single Occupancy

    Second annual Staff Onboarding Day 11/27:

    Tuesday November 27th, 9am-5pm, we will hold an “add-on” day expressly for new (and new-ish) annual conference staff with Camp and Retreat Ministry in their portfolio.

    Learn more about the powerful opportunities, unique challenges, and supportive resources available to your work on the conference level in camping ministries. Seasoned conference staff will share in this day customized to your needs. If you opt to participate in this extra day, the cost is $50, including Monday night stay and Tuesday breakfast and lunch. Airport transportation will be provided for arrivals by 7:00 pm Monday evening.


    We'll coordinate a shuttle from Rapid City airport (RAP). Please schedule flight arrivals by 4 pm to arrive at camp in time for dinner on Tuesday. The ride to Storm Mountain is approximately 1 hour. Departing flights should not be scheduled before 10 a.m. on Friday (shuttle leaves after breakfast).
