2020 Virtual UMCRM Execs Summit

UMCRM will hold our 2020 Execs Summit virtually via Zoom Monday, October 5th at 3pm Eastern / 12 noon Pacific We know the past few months have brought unprecedented challenges to camp and retreat ministries as well as to each of us personally. We know how important this event is each year as both a learning experience and as an opportunity to gather with colleagues for fellowship and support. It is just good to get into a room together and talk things out! Without the ability to do our planned joint summit in Charleston, or an in-person event at all this year, we felt a virtual summit for Camp/Retreat Execs was the next best option. The goal for this virtual summit will be to emphasize personal sharing time and exploration of topics that are most important and challenging to us right now. After our initial worship and check-in time, we will be using an “Open Space” format to organize by topic and interests into small “Lunch Tables” (aka breakout rooms). To help identify topics ahead of time, we ask that you complete the Google form linked below to suggest what you would like to discuss around your Lunch Table. Topics will be narrowed down to perhaps 4 or 5. Everyone will be given the opportunity to choose which of the tables to join. On Summit day, the Lunch Tables will be our final agenda item so that you and your small group can continue to meet for as long as you wish.
